It’s FREE Taxi Week in the City of Sails with Zoomy
Thanks to Zoomy’s Auckland FREE Taxi Week, it’s going to be a great weekend to hit the town.
To take advantage of the offer, you will need to download the app, which is available for Android and iOS, then enter the code FREETAXI after you have loaded a debit or credit card. You may only use the $30 credit for one ride, and the offer lasts until 11:59 PM, Sunday 13th of April, so go hard!

Zoomy, an app developed by Kiwi entrepreneurs James Fisk and Neil McDonald, allows cab riders to order, track, and pay for their taxi all from their smartphone. Zoomy aims to be the invisible hand that gets you where you need to go faster than ever before, with a simple tap of the screen.
Users open the app and signal that they want a cab. Zoomy then uses their phone’s GPS, locating the rider and asking for confirmation that their location is indeed the place to which the cab should come. When that has been confirmed, a message is sent to the nearest drivers signed up with Zoomy’s corporate, standard or economy services (depending on the parameters the rider dictates) as shown on the screen. The first cab in the rider’s vicinity to accept the ride heads to the customer. The rider waits in the comforts of the bar, home, office (that is, where it is warm, light, safe) all the while being able to track the cab’s approach.
