Showcase Workshop only NZ finalist in Tabby Awards

Wellington’s Showcase Workshop has been selected as a finalist in the world’s best tablet apps for business in the prestigious Tabby Awards.

“We are thrilled to be recognised in this world class selection of business apps, especially amongst such tough competition from the likes of Adobe, Citrix and others,” says Millie Jocelyn, CEO of Showcase Workshop. “It’s a real testament to the fact that New Zealand technology companies can compete with the best in the world. It’s the technology equivalent of an Oscar nomination and we are very proud to receive this accolade.”

Showcase Workshop is the only NZ app to make the business finalists section. Winners will be announced at the end of the year.

This year, an international panel of 20 independent judges, chaired by Billion Dollar Apps author Alex Bratton, reviewed entries from a dozen countries and selected the best business apps for Android, iPad and Windows tablets.

Showcase Workshop enables marketers to create custom branded apps using PowerPoint, PDF, MP4 and other common file formats and send them to staff on their iOS, Android and Windows devices. The platform is a cloud tool and pricing starts at $20 (incl GST) per user per month. Customers in New Zealand include Z Energy, Mitsubishi, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, The Warehouse, Rabo Direct and Fisher and Paykel Healthcare.

Millie Jocelyn is currently in London, working alongside channel partner Vodafone Global Enterprises to introduce Showcase to their largest enterprise customers worldwide.
